Community Learning Open Day for Women

Following the success of the Cooking Classes and Sewing Classes delivered at Masjid E Umar Women's Centre in partnership with Bradford College, we are delighted to explore further learning opportunities for women in our community.

We invite all sisters to attend our Community Learning Open Day, where representatives from Bradford College will be available to discuss potential future courses and training opportunities that could be delivered at the Women's Centre.

This is an opportunity to:

Last week, we had a visit by the students of Whetley Academy. This half term, the Year 1 students were learning about Islam and the role of a Masjid in the community.

During the visit, the children were able to see and hear about many of the things they had been learning in class, bringing their understanding to life. It was a truly worthwhile and rewarding experience for everyone involved. See the attached photos of the visit.
